Board Member

In 1993, Mr. Shannon co-founded Triad Properties Corporation (“Triad”) as a Huntsville-based real estate development and operating company that specialized in the development, leasing, and management of office build-to-suit projects for local, regional and Fortune 500 companies in the Huntsville market. Later, Mr. Shannon co-founded Triad Properties Holdings, LLC (“TPH”) as the real estate asset holding company for Triad’s projects. When taken together, Triad and TPH are referred to as “Triad Properties”. Triad Properties quickly expanded its corporate infrastructure to become a regional real estate operating and investment company with a broader geographic reach. Since inception, Triad Properties has developed or acquired approximately 9 million square feet of commercial real estate properties in Huntsville, Atlanta, Dallas, Tulsa, Ft. Meyers, Orlando, Memphis, and Nashville. With over thirty years of commercial real estate acquisition, development, and capitalization experience, Mr. Shannon has secured more than $850 million of debt and equity that was used to capitalize on the projects acquired or developed by Triad Properties. He is responsible for capital planning, financial strategy, long-term forecasting, financial reporting, and oversight of the performance of Triad and TPH, as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with its debt and equity capital sources. Prior to forming Triad and TPH, Mr. Shannon was a principal and shareholder of the Huntsville, Alabama accounting firm of Faulkner, Shannon, Hill, and Fogg, P.C.

Mr. Shannon received a BBA in accounting and business administration from Middle Tennessee State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Real Estate Sales License with the State of Alabama.
