On Friday, September 17th, Torch Technologies, Freedom Real Estate & Capital, LLC’s sister company, held their annual Golf Tournament at RTJGC Hampton Cove. After a shotgun start, teams competed in a traditional 4-person scramble, with door prizes awarded at the end.
From the event, Torch raised about $88,000, and Freedom topped off the amount with $12,000. As a result, Torch and Freedom raised $100,000 for Village of Promise, a local nonprofit that serves Huntsville neighborhoods in poverty.
“Village of Promise does so much for families in poverty, so we know that this money will be used for the benefit of current and future generations in Huntsville,” said Bill Roark, CEO of Freedom Real Estate & Capital, LLC. “We are excited to see how Village of Promise will continue to shape Huntsville in the years to come.”
Village of Promise pursues a mission “to advance families out of the cycle of poverty using a multi-generational approach.” The organization operates a Family Advancement Center that provides education, resources for families, health and wellness activities, and professional development opportunities.
