Vice President, Development & Construction
Lee Holland provides leadership of Freedom’s Development and Owner Consulting businesses. This includes all aspects of the capital building programs and owner consulting projects ranging from Greenfield buildings to building expansions/renovations and tenant fit-outs. Responsibilities include financial management, business strategy, and growth planning. Additionally, assisting the CEO with the development and implementation of strategic business and operational programs.
His career has taken him throughout the United States, including Hawaii, prior to joining Freedom Real Estate & Capital in July of 2019. With more than 24 years of senior-level management and leadership experience in construction, Lee has expertise working with clients representing diverse markets ranging from privately held companies to global corporations. Lee has specific expertise in delivering complex, fast-track projects. His project experience includes defense, aerospace, research & development, office, manufacturing, government, higher education, sports, and hospitality.
In the community, Lee currently serves as the President-Elect of The CARE Center Board of Directors and a member of the Huntsville Botanical Garden Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Committee of 100 and a graduate of Leadership Huntsville Flagship Program Class 31. Lee previously served on the Huntsville Madison County Chamber Board of Directors and volunteered for 7 years on the United Way of Madison County Board of Directors, including Board Chair.
Lee is a Madison County native. He graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and a Business Minor. He earned the Certified Professional Constructor designation and is a member of the American Institute of Constructors. He achieved the LEED AP designation from the U.S. Green Building Council. From providing creative solutions for Freedom’s clients to volunteering in the community, Lee is passionate about making North Alabama a great place to work and live.
