Freedom Real Estate and Capital, LLC, a real estate investment company, announced their plans to develop the Freedom Center in southeast Huntsville. The Freedom Center will use previously acquired properties as the cornerstones and will include a newly constructed 10,000 + sq. ft. conference center connecting the building located at 4090 South Memorial Parkway with the building located at 4035 Chris Drive. When completed, the combined properties will be named the Freedom Center.
The anchor tenant for the property will be Torch Technologies, Inc., Torch, is an employee-owned company focused on research, development, and engineering services for multiple Department of Defense agencies. The Freedom Center will serve as the headquarters for Torch, they will fully occupy the space currently located in the 4090 Building.
Invariant Corporation, a custom software design, development, and engineering company will also make Freedom Center its headquarters, occupying space currently located in the 4035 Building.
These innovative companies firmly establish the Freedom Center as an industry-leading research, development and engineering services facility.
Today is the groundbreaking for construction for a total renovation of the 4090 South Memorial Parkway building and construction of the conference center building. The 4090 Building will require a major renovation since that building has been unoccupied for the past 5 years.
The 4035 Building currently serves as the headquarters for Torch Technologies, Inc. and Invariant Corporation. It also serves as the headquarters for the newly formed Freedom Real Estate and Capital, LLC.
